College of Science and Arts in Gurayat

Overview

The Royal Decree approved the establishment of the College of Sciences and Arts in Al-Qurayyat Governorate, affiliated to Al-Jouf University, at the beginning of the academic year 1431/1430 AH. Upon its inception, the college included only two departments: the Department of Islamic Studies and the Department of Arabic Language, after which nine other departments were added, bringing the total to 11 departments.

The seventeenth council of the College of Science and Arts in Qurayyat

   The College of Science and Arts in Qurayyat held its seventeenth session on Tuesday 11/17/1444 at eleven thirty in the morning, headed by the Assigned Dean of the College, Dr. Radhi bin Nasser Al-Ruwaili, the membership of the college vice dean and heads of departments.

 The council chairman started the session by praising and praising God, and may prayers and peace be upon His Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, and welcoming the members of the council.

 Then the council discussed the topics on the agenda.

It included:

 Discussing some academic topics for some faculty members, which varied from a physics note to one of his teaching assistants being sent to study for a master's degree at the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom.

And a memorandum for the Department of Mathematics to equate some courses for its students

The council also discussed the reports of the units in the college (the academic and student advising unit, the alumni unit, the e-learning and distance education unit, as well as the report of the field training committee).
