The college implements the World Physiotherapy Day event

Under the supervision and presence of Her Excellency Dr. Dean of the College, the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Qurayyat implemented the World Physiotherapy Day event. This event was organized by the Department of Physical Therapy and Health Rehabilitation on Thursday, 2/22/1445 AH, corresponding to 9/7/2023 AD, at eight o’clock in the evening in Qurayyat Mall.
Male and female students of the Physical Therapy Department participated in explaining their important role in treating arthritis and the importance of practicing therapeutic exercises. There were other awareness corners aimed at educating participants about the importance of physical therapy, where brochures containing health and educational advice were distributed.
This initiative comes within the efforts of the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Qurayyat to enhance awareness of the importance of physical therapy and provide health information to the community and contribute to spreading awareness about the importance of physical therapy and its role in improving the quality of life of patients. The event was successful and well received by the participants.
