The College implements the World Health Day event under the slogan "Safe Fasting for Diabetics"

Under the supervision of Her Excellency Dr. Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Qurayyat, Dr. Maryam Bint Nazzal Al-Enezi, the Student Activities and Community Service Committee of the College, organized the World Health Day event under the title (Safe Fasting for Diabetics), with the aim of raising awareness and educating diabetics and their families on how to deal with diabetes properly and appropriately during the fasting period. Where male and female students from the Departments of Nursing and Clinical Laboratory Sciences participated in the event with educational pillars that illustrate the relationship of diabetes mellitus to fasting, answer questions and inquiries of visitors, define diabetes, explain the symptoms of high and low blood sugar, how glucose analysis works, and clarify appropriate health practices for diabetics, in addition to distributing brochures and distributions. Educational for visitors to the corners of the community members in the city of Qurayyat. The pillars also included accompanying activities (such as measuring blood sugar and measuring blood pressure). This event comes within the vision and mission of the college and its role in serving the community and promoting a healthy culture for its members. The event concluded by wishing the visitors good health and wellness.
