Postgraduate Unit
• Vision :
This unit is linked with the Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Agency to implement all subjects related to the Master's and Ph.D. programs in the College in accordance with the regulations to achieve the vision of the university as it seeks to improve the quality of graduate programs and research according to the college policy. Mission:
Servicing of the community and the educational field in order to prepare a generation with a high academic degree.
• Goals :
This unit develops innovation and excellence for the research of graduate students in various educational fields, to improve the quality of research in the college through updating the study plans continuously. Providing helps to students and supervisors in all subjects related to the master's and doctorate programs. Encouraging theoretical and applied research related to educational Contemporary issues.
• Tasks:
- Implementation of the college policy and follow-up postgraduate.
- Review and Development of the requirements for admission postgraduate .
- Preparation of the annual guide for postgraduate studies in the college.
- Preparation, follow-up and implementation of the induction program for postgraduate students.
- Create a web page on the university website that contains all the details related to the graduate studies in the college starting from the announcement, policy, conditions and receive applications for registration and answer inquiries.
- Coordinating with the faculty units in all related fields.
- Follow up the work of the committees for postgraduate at the college.
- Receiving departmental decisions regarding applications for postgraduateand sending them to the Deanship of Graduate Studies for approval by the Council.
- Supervising study of postgraduate students and solve the corresponding problems and facilitate difficulties.
- Appointing supervisors for postgraduate students in coordination with academic affair and submitting them to the competent authority for approval.
- Prepare periodic reports and statistics for postgraduate studies and submit them to the Dean of the College.
- Determine the needs of the unit in the college and follow-up.
- Receiving all subjectsand decisions referred by the Vice Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Researchto the Unit and taking appropriate action.
- Submit proposals and recommendations that will improve the performance of the programs of postgraduate unit at the College.
- Preparation of an annual report on the work of the Unit to Vice Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.
- Determine the training needs of members of the postgraduate unit and provide appropriate courses for this.
