The college is implementing an awareness program entitled "My Health is in My Food"

Under the supervision and follow-up of Her Excellency Dr. Maryam Al-Enezi, Dean of the College, and on the occasion of World Nutrition Day, the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Qurayyat implemented an awareness program entitled “My Health is in My Food” at the First Elementary School in Qurayyat, on Wednesday, 5/24/2023 AD in Tammam. The program included an awareness lecture entitled "My Health is in My Food", where the lecture began with defining healthy food and the functions of nutrients. In the same context, the lecture was completed by talking about the benefits of healthy food and foods that can be focused on in the primary stage. Then the food pyramid was presented and the foods that should be available in the child's daily diet were defined. Finally, there was awareness of foods that have negative effects on children's health. ,
The program also included pillars of the college students' participation, as it included educational distributions containing a variety of healthy foods such as milk, fruits, etc., and educational leaflets that were distributed to female and female students of the school.
