Out of social responsibility, the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Qurayyat, represented by the Department of Physical Therapy and Health Rehabilitation, in cooperation with the Medical Rehabilitation Center at Qurayyat General Hospital, organized the “World Stroke Day” event on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 11 am.
The event began with a presentation on World Stroke Day, followed by an explanation of the definition of stroke, the causes, symptoms and complications that the patient is exposed to, and how to treat it, along with an explanation of the pivotal role of physical therapy in dealing with stroke cases.
The event concluded with the distribution of awareness brochures and responding to attendees’ inquiries.
