Library Visitors Statistics for the Third Semester of 1444
Library visitor statistics are an important tool that helps the Quality Unit in the Deanship of Libraries Affairs understand the performance of university libraries and the use of their resources by students, faculty members, and other beneficiaries. This information is essential for improving library services and meeting the needs of its visitors.
This report was prepared at the end of the third semester of the academic year 1444 AH, with the aim of providing an overview of the number of visitors to university libraries during this period and analyzing the available data for library management.
The data was collected through the visitor registration system, which records visitor information, including their number, the temporal distribution of their visits, and the types of resources they used inside the library. In addition, a survey was conducted among users to determine their satisfaction level with the services provided.
The results indicate that the number of visitors to university libraries is increasing compared to the same period in previous years, indicating that library visitors use it as a source of resources to assist in their university studies. The results also show that book borrowing and reference services are the most frequently used resources in the library, and the overall satisfaction level of users with the services provided by the library is very high.
