Merits of Studying in the Chemistry Department

The Department of Chemistry in the College is distinguished by the existence of a very fertile environment for graduating a student who is able to advance the educational process represented by faculty members and laboratories equipped with the latest analytical devices and laboratory equipment in order to absorb and understand the scientific material. Since the start of work at the College of Science has been the forerunner in the field of scientific research. Researchers conducting research with students of graduation projects in many international scientific journals.
In addition to starting the postgraduate program, where the master's program was introduced in 2019 when a number of male and female students began their studies according to established rules and regulations that were the first building block for graduate studies in the college. It is expected that a number of master's students, represented in the first batch, will graduate in many disciplines related to solving scientific problems such as water treatment and others ....

In addition, many advanced research projects have been approved for the Department of Chemistry, which included various specializations of chemistry such as organic, inorganic, analytical, physical, bio-industrial, and some of them have a great relationship with medical, pharmaceutical and industrial materials that serve the Kingdom's vision 2030.
For the sake of the permanence of postgraduate studies, the department has established laboratories that include advanced research equipment and an efficient workforce to carry out various analyzes for postgraduate students.
The department's professors have made every effort to maintain the solid scientific level of the department and graduate students of undergraduate and postgraduate students who hold a master's degree to raise the level of graduates of chemistry in the college and at Jouf University.
