The college is implementing an awareness seminar entitled "Drug Harms"

Under the supervision and presence of Her Excellency Dr. Maryam Al-Enezi, Dean of the College, and in cooperation with the Deanship of Student Affairs at Al-Jouf University, and in solidarity with the national campaign against drugs, the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Qurayyat implemented an awareness symposium entitled "Drug Harms" in the theater of the Girls' Colleges Complex in Qurayyat. On Wednesday, corresponding to 5/24/2023 AD, at twelve o’clock in the afternoon, the symposium was moderated by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah Al-Juhani, where he welcomed His Excellency the Dean, His Excellency the Vice-President, and the attendance of the faculty members, the administrative and technical staff, and male and female students, The symposium began with a speech by His Excellency Dr. Fuhaid Al-Enezi, Vice Dean of the College, where he introduced an introduction to drugs and their different types, to enhance the audience's awareness of all types of drugs and support prevention from them. Then, His Excellency Dr. Saleh Al-Hursan talked about the effect of drugs on the five necessities such as religion, reason, and others. In the same context, the negative effects and damages of drugs were presented in detail. This was followed by an explanation by His Excellency Dr. Hamad Al-Anzi of the role of the family and society in the preventive dealing with the problem of addiction. He also emphasized the pivotal role of the family and society in supporting the security services
The symposium concluded with a speech by Dr. Dean of the College, where she thanked the symposium presenters and the attendees. Her Excellency also stressed the necessity of joining all efforts to protect the Kingdom and its youth from the danger of drugs. The questions and inquiries of the attendees were answered
