The college is conducting an awareness lecture about the harmful effects of smoking on the individual and the family

Under the supervision and follow-up of His Excellency Dr. Maryam Al-Enezi, Dean of the College, and His Excellency Dr. Fahid Al-Enezi, Vice Dean of the College, coinciding with the International Family Day and in cooperation with the Education Department in Qurayyat, the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Qurayyat, represented by the Nursing Department, implemented an awareness lecture on the harms of smoking on the individual and the family at the school’s headquarters Al-Qurayyat Private Secondary School for Boys, on Monday 5/15/2023 AD, at exactly nine o’clock in the morning, with the participation of faculty members and students of the department. The lecture included an introduction to smoking, the reasons for its spread among young people, the extent of its spread at the local and global levels, the types of tobacco and the risks involved, and the harms of smoking to the individual, family and society were clarified.
