Mission:
Providing a distinguished academic and research program in biology and its various branches and preparing scientifically qualified cadres in the field of biology and its applications through a stimulating environment for scientific research and creativity to achieve the requirements and plans of development in the country.
Objectives:
- The application of international quality standards and provide the best scientific methods in the teaching of biology, both theoretical and experimental.
- Providing a distinguished educational and research service through working on developing students’ abilities to use the scientific and practical methods that serve the community and the labor market.
- Supporting the country's needs for research and projects.
- Offering the distinctive methods in teaching biology in all branches to achieve the vision and academic aspirations of graduates in the department.
