Support and Follow-up Visits for the Faculties, Deanships, and Administrations of the University in the First Semester of 1439/1438
The Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation in both sections started conducting support and follow-up visits to the faculties, deanships, administrations of the University to complete the role of the Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation in providing support and follow-up concerning implementing the efforts to meet the quality requirements of academic accreditation and performing the internal quality systems in the different sectors of the University. These visits were paid using the follow-up forms attached to the Guide to Establishing Internal System for Quality at the Faculties and Supporting Deanships that was handed to the heads of quality units to implement since week one of the first academic semester of the academic year 1439/1438.
The Support and Follow-up teams were composed of their highness the consultants of the Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation headed by His Excellency the Dean and Her Excellency the Dean-Assistant. Other members of the teams were the heads of quality units who underwent courses in accreditation for internal reviewing. These courses were organized by the Deanship of Quality and Accreditation during the first semester.
The visit program to each quality units was:
- A meeting between the visiting team members with the dean of the faculty / deanship 15m
- A meeting between the visiting team members with the members of the quality unit 15m
- Visiting the headquarters of the unit and examining the infrastructure and the archiving system 15m
- Reviewing the documents against the sent models. 60m
- A meeting between the visiting team members and the dean of the faculty/deanship to present the feedback about the visit and adopt the minutes of the visit. 15m
The visiting team will also survey the points of view of the teaching staff and their satisfaction with the performance of the quality unit at the faculty / deanship.
The Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation will send after the visit a report indicating the results of the visit and points of required improvement. On the basis of this report, an improvement plan should be developed and implemented.
