The Tamkeen initiative was launched on Sunday 18/5/1439 H. by the Community College of Girls in Qaryat in partnership with the Deanship of Community Service and Continuing Education under the theme "Empowerment of Women Empowering the Community." The program was opened by Ms. Ghada Al-Abdali, In accordance with the vision of the Kingdom of 2030, followed by a speech by Professor Salha Al-Aqili, the initiator of the initiative, and the Vice Dean of the College of Applied Medical Sciences and the administrative supervisor of the College of Girls in Al-Qaryat, where she welcomed the attendees and also expressed their sincere thanks and loyalty to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salma And thanked the Director of Al-Jouf University, Prof. Ismail Al-Bishri, for his blessing and encouragement of the initiative. She also thanked the Public Relations and Media Unit and the coordinators of the University events. She added that the initiative is in line with the vision of 2030 and empowering Women in the labor market and development. At the end of the speech, the launching of the initiative and the opening of the working sessions were announced. The first day consisted of two working sessions. The first session was entitled "Empowering Women Leading and Pioneering" by Prof. Salaha Al-Aqili. The session began by explaining the meaning of Tamkeen as the spiritual, political, social and economic capacity of individuals. Such as Dr. Nora Al Fayez, Dr. Moudhi Al Khalaf, Dr. Arwa Al-Amami and Prof. Ghada Al-Mutairi. She noted a profile of the initiative's owner Professor Salha Al-Aqili. The second session was entitled "Empowerment of Women in the Personal Status Law" presented by Attorney Sarah Al Harbi.
