The College of Sciences and Arts in Al-Qurayyat is located in the Northern part of Al-Jouf Province which is located in the North West of Saudi Arabia.

The College of Sciences and Arts was established upon the Royal Decree to establish the College in Al-Qurayyat in 1430 AH. The students started going to the college in the first term in the academic year 1430/1431 AH.

Study programs offering a bachelor’s degree started in the following departments:

• Department of Islamic Studies: This department offers a bachelor’s degree in Islamic studies to both male and female students.
• Department of Arabic Studies: This department offers a bachelor’s degree in Arabic to both male and female students.
• Department of English: This department offers a bachelor’s degree in English to female students in the language stream and the translation stream as well.
• Department of Mathematics: This department offers a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics to female students.

In the academic year 1431/1432 AH the following new departments were established:

• Department of Mathematics to male students.
• Department of Physics to both male and female students.
• Department of Chemistry to both male and female students.
• Department of Computer Science and Information Technology to both male and female students.
• Department of English to male students.
• Department of Kindergarten education and Psychology to female students.
