The Student Activities Committee of the Department of Chemistry in the Female Section implemented a workshop entitled:
Safety procedures in the laboratory
provided by:
Lecturer/ Farida Dakhil Allah Al-Balawi
It dealt with the definition of the laboratory and its safety procedures, how to deal in the laboratory, how to deal with chemicals in general, how to deal with flammable materials in particular, how to store chemicals, and the tools that must be with the laboratory student.
The workshop witnessed great interaction from the students.
