The nursing sector is one of the most important human health sectors, so the department aims to prepare scientifically and practically qualified cadres to meet the changing health needs in line with the technical and scientific development witnessed by medicine and services. The department seeks to arm students of both sexes with the necessary knowledge by studying the foundations of anatomy, growth and development, physiology, medical microbiology, pathology, epidemiology, nutritional foundations, pharmacology, nursing ethics, medical community science, health care foundations, medical measurement, maternal and child nursing, obstetrics and gynecology nursing, and medical nursing. Surgical Nursing, Critical Nursing, Emergency Nursing, Internal Medicine Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, Mental Health and Primary Health Care Nursing. The educational programs of the department are implemented through courses that include anatomy, histology, physiology, pathology, foundations of medicine and medical applications of the computer.
