Within the framework of the celebration of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, the College of Engineering organized a lecture entitled "Occupational Health and Safety in the Workplace", which was presented by Dr. Wael M. Alruqi in the presence of a number of faculty, staff, and students from the college. The lecture touched on the concept of occupational health and safety, as well as procedures for identifying risks and neutralizing them before they occur, as well as how to measure the level of security and safety in the work environment and safety procedures in dealing with equipment, machinery, and hazardous materials.
