Report on the College of Business Participation (accounting department) in the Saudi Accountants Forum (SAF)

Jouf University, has represented by the College of Business, the Accounting Department, participated in the first SAF Saudi Accountants Forum, which is considered the first of its kind in the Middle East from 27-29 January 2020, held in Riyadh. The university's participation was also represented by the dean of college a wing, through which the university's role in the educational field, scientific research, and community service is presented. In addition to the role of the Accounting Department in achieving the Vision 2030, and aligning with the goals of the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants. The university pavilion is represented by the dean of the College of Business and a group of faculty, students from the both section in the Accounting Department. The forum opened in the presence of the Minister of Education, the Minister of Trade and Investment, the Minister of Labor and Social Development, and the Chairman of the Capital Market Authority.

The Executive MBA seminar

As part of the efforts of the College of Business to improve the outcomes of the Executive MBA Program and to enable the Program students to obtain the essence of the practical experience, the College organized the first Executive MBA seminar in the presence and participation of the Dean of the College of Business. Mohammed bin Nayef Al-Otaibi, and both of Dr. Jamal Abdulrahman Al-Akkad, Aramco Co. and Mr. Mohammed Mofleh Al-Darani, Vice President of the Saudi Management Association, in addition to attending faculty members and the program' students. The main focus of the seminar was how to transfer the scientific and practical experiences from speakers to students, and a review of the most recent developments in the field of business management such as the process of decision-making and solving administrative problems and the composition of team-work groups and leading them to accomplish the tasks.To conclude the seminar, the Dean of the College thanked the speakers and faculty members and students and focused on the importance of such as those sessions and seminars in the development and refinement of students' abilities.

At the end of the meeting, the Dean of the College presented the memorial shields to the guests of the forum.
