Duties and responsibilities
Assigning academic guides for students at the college.
- Organizing a meeting on academic guidance at the beginning of the academic year to introduce the students to the aims and policy of the unit.
- Providing academic guidance programs and information to the students guides.
- Organizing academic guidance programs covering issues such as exams , university life and future jobs.
- Helping students with their social and psychological problems.
- Supporting outstanding students in a way that enhances their academic standards and skills.
- Helping low achieving students develop their academic standards.
- Supporting students with special needs.
- Preparing periodical reports on the unit activities to be submitted to the center of academic guidance at the university.
