Vision & Mission and Objectives


To prepare competent and compassionate physicians who are able to meet and respond to the changing healthcare needs and expectations of the community, through innovative medical education, research, and health services by collaborating with local and international partners.


To be a leading national and an internationally accredited and recognized college in innovative medical education by adopting a didactic strategy stands on problem-based learning, self-directed, student-centered, community-based, and community-oriented education. Promoting faculty members' development in their career profession, education, and research is a cornerstone of the college program. To achieve this mission, the college collaborates with national and international partners.


  • Train medical students to develop a sound basis for life-long learning, and encourage critical, creative, and innovative thinking.
  • Educate students by re-enforcing the importance of the human nature of their career, so that they could relate sympathetically to patients and families.
  • Motivate students to be interested in academic medicine or biomedical science by providing an environment, in which basic and clinical research are actively pursued.
