In the name of ALLAH, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful;  Praise be to ALLAH, and blessings and peace be upon Prophet Muhammad, the Messenger of ALLAH .

Thanks to ALLAH The Almighty,  since the establishment of the College of Dentistry, Jouf University, the college was keen to be a distinct educational institution because it adopts a distinct recent educational system developed from of Australian and American universities.  The  college  had started in allowing students’ admission by  accepting  Twenty - eight  28   students  as the first batch of  students for the academic year  1430  -  1431  (2010-2011) .  The College’s vision, mission , objectives and core values are consistent with the vision and mission of Jouf University, and in line with the Kingdom 's Vision 2030.

The college is always looking forward to be a leader locally and internationally in the fields of education and research in Dental and Oral Sciences  through the graduation of qualified distinct professionals capable of serving the community, and participating in the development of all fields of dentistry,  and contributing effectively to the provision of  healthcare  services, and raising the healthcare awareness of the community of Al - Jouf Region and KSA.  This appeared evident from the rising of number of beneficiaries of the college’s healthcare services to reach more than 15 thousand annually.

The College has also a strong central role in the  knowledge production through scientific  studies and applied scientific research, which is published in international peer reviewed journals.

Over years, the college had passed through several stages in its development by obtaining the European Accreditation-ADEE, and then seeking to obtain the National Accreditation by the NCAAA, and the college already took steps to gain the German accreditation  - AHPGS  .  

The college  is also keeping pace with the  international and local variables, and always seeking to fundamentally develop the educational process, and to  establish new programs for postgraduate studies,  contributing effectively to the achievement of the Kingdom’s plans for university education and progressing in the development of  variable postgraduate programs in the Kingdom . All that, had qualified the college to obtain the award of the ‘The Best College in Jouf university Award’ in 2019.

The march towards excellence and initiative developmental steps will remain one of the basic features of the college through the substantial support it receives from Jouf University, and the college will continue raising the standards of  ambitions of its  students and faculty,  and promoting a culture of high quality performance and the ability to keep up with the latest developments and challenges of the future .

In this context,  I am delighted to cordially thank His Excellency, University President and His Excellency, the Minister of Education, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulazi,  and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, on all what they offer from care and support  to  science and education .

And finally, I wish  thank all the previous and current  faithful efforts,  which contributed greatly to the achievements that the College of Dentistry had reached in  excellence and success.
