Academic and students Advising Unit
The Academic and Student Counseling Unit at the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Qurayyat is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising the implementation of the academic guidance process by the faculty members of the faculty, and be responsible to the Dean of the College or the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs, and works in coordination with the Unit Academic and Student Counseling Center.
The Academic and Student Counseling Unit at the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences in Qaryat is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising the implementation of the academic and student counseling process by the faculty members of the faculty. It is responsible for the Dean of the College or the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs.

The Academic and Student Counseling Unit at the College of Applied Medical Sciences in Qaryat seeks to support the educational process by offering a variety of educational services to the student, and constantly striving to raise the level of delivery of these services in accordance with quality standards and academic accreditation.
1- Create the right conditions to help the student build positive relationships.
2. Create new students and motivate them to adapt to university life.
3. Help new students choose the right specialty.
4- Encouraging and honoring outstanding students and investing their abilities and abilities.
5. Follow-up students who fail to study, and help them to correct their academic course.
6- Discover talented and creative students, and take care of them.
7- Vocational guidance for graduates.
8- Dissemination of the culture of academic and student counseling among faculty members.
1. Develop a plan for the academic supervision of the college.
2. Supervise the implementation of the annual plan for academic supervision.
3. To raise awareness among students about the nature of the unit and its importance and how to benefit from its services through meetings and publications and the website of the College.
4. Defining the objectives of the college and its mission, its educational programs, its scientific departments, the fields of work of its graduates, and the aspects of care and services it provides to its students, as well as educating them to choose the appropriate specializations that suit their abilities and abilities.
5. Distribution of new students to academic supervisors and publishing lists on the bulletin boards and the website of the College on the Internet at the beginning of each year.
6. Raise periodically (mid of each semester) a report that includes the work of the unit as well as a report on the levels of students to the management of the college. Including the Center for Academic Counseling at the University.
7. Study the cases referred to it by the College Administration and prepare reports for submission to the competent authorities.
8. Examine the problems of academic students who are brought up by the mentors and seek to solve them with the college administration.
9. Examine the complaints of students of academic nature and find solutions that fit them or raise them to the department if necessary.
10- Examine students' complaints about any course and find solutions and raise them to the college administration
11. Raising awareness of the importance of academic guidance and the importance of communicating with the academic advisor by publishing brochures, publications and using the college website for this purpose.
12. Supervising orientation programs for new students to introduce the system of study and tests in the college.
- The Unit shall meet periodically every 4 weeks or as may be updated to discuss periodic reports or extraordinary reports from academic advisors.
14. Contribute to solve the students' psychological, financial, social and functional problems and, if necessary, to the Deanship of Student Affairs to take the necessary action.
