تقديم برامج تدريبية متنوعة لجميع منسوبي العمادة تساهم في رفع وتطوير المستوى الثقافي والفكري لبناء الشخصية المتزنة القادرة على مواجهة المشكلات والتحديات والتغيرات السريعة، وبما يساهم في تحقيق رؤية المملكة العربية السعودية 2030م

الأهداف:

  • نشر ثقافة التدريب بين الطلاب وجعلها جزءاً من ثقافتهم.
  • تقديم برامج من خلالها يستطيع الطالب أن يكتشف قدراته وميوله.
  • عمل دورات تثقيفية وعلمية لجميع الطلاب بالعمادة.
  • معرفة الظواهر والمشكلات التي تواجه الطلاب وعمل برامج تدريبية لمواجهتها والتخفيف من حدتها من خلال برامج علاجية ووقائية وتنموية.
  • تنمية بعض القيم لدى الطلاب وخصوصاً قيم العمل التطوعي والعمل اليدوي.
  • تنمية الجانب الثقافي والإبداعي لدى الطلاب من خلال تقديم مجموعة من البرامج.
  • تنمية روح المبادرة والثقة بالنفس لدى الطلاب.
  • تغيير بعض الثقافات لدى الطلاب مثل ثقافة الإسراف وعدم المبالاة.

المهام:

  • تحديد الاحتياجات التدريبية والبرامج اللازمة لتطوير المهارات في العمادة ودعم مشاركة أعضاء هيئة التدريس في هذه البرامج .
  • الإشراف على وحدة تطوير المهارات ووضع خطط التطوير والاستراتيجيات لتنفيذها، وإعداد برنامج تطوير أعضاء هيئة التدريس والعمل على تنفيذه.
  • تحديد الاحتياجات التدريبية المتخصصة لأعضاء هيئة التدريس في الأقسام الأكاديمية بالعمادة والتنسيق مع عمادة تطوير المهارات في تنفيذها.
  • حث وتشجيع أعضاء هيئة التدريس على المشاركة في حضور الدورات والبرامج التدريبية وورش العمل التي تقدمها عمادة تطوير المهارات.
  • متابعة تنفيذ برامج تطوير منسوبي العمادة (أعضاء هيئة التدريس و اداريين و فنيين وطلاب).
  • تنظيم انعقاد المحاضرات وورش العمل الضرورية في العمادة بالتنسيق مع الأقسام ووحدة التعليم المستمر.
  • إعداد تقرير دوري عن أنشطة الوحدة و رفعه إلى وكيل العمادة للتطوير و الجودة.
  • معاونة الوكيل في التخطيط والتنظيم لكل ما من شأنه تيسير سير العمل بالوحدة.
  • تحقيق الأهداف والسياسات العليا في جامعة الجوف.
  • تنفيذ قرارات الوكيل فيما يتعلق بالعملية التعليمية داخل العمادة.         
  • المساهمة فى  إعداد الخطة الإستراتيجية للعمادة والمشاركة فى تنفيذها.
  • وضع رؤية لتطوير العمل داخل الوحدة  .
  • تنسيق وتطوير علاقات الوحدة داخل وخارج العمادة .

Academic Affairs Unit

Vision:

Stewardship and excellence in the supervision, follow-up and development of everything related to the academic and academic process according to quality standards.

Mission:

Providing advanced educational and academic services that contribute to the development of the academic work in the common first year deanship, through academic environment conducive to work, learning and creativity, in accordance with the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030.

Objectives:

The unit aims to create a regulatory process to coordinate the educational situation of students through follow-up of the school schedules and the steps of the educational process for students from the transfers between departments or colleges in coordination with admission and registration, and carry out deletions, addition and deprivation and all matters related to the student academically. The unit also supervises the scientific departments with regard to the plans and curricula and follow up their progress and ensure that they conform to the academic quality standards.

Tasks:

  • Follow up students' schedules in coordination with the Deanship of Admission and Registration.
  • Follow up the process of  students' enrollment in the groups.
  • Issuing academic records for students.
  • Solving students' absence and delay problems.
  • Follow-up submitting students' grades.
  • Follow up the transfer of students from and to the Deanship in coordination with the Deanship of Admission and Registration.
  • Follow up the transfer of students from a department to another in coordination with the Deanship of Admission and Registration.
  • Implement the regulations and regulations of the Higher Education Council.
  • Achieving the highest goals and policies at Al-Jouf University.

Vision:

To be the quality unit in the first common year of the joint school model in the application of quality systems and standards of higher education, to achieve the continuity of outstanding performance at the level of Al-Jouf University and that the decisions of the Deanship of recognition of the audit bodies and accreditation at the national, regional and international levels.

Mission:

Establishing and activating an internal system for quality assurance and development in the common first year deanships' administration at Al-Jouf University

Objectives:

  1. Implementing an effective quality assurance system in the Deanship.
  2. Spread the culture of quality and awareness of the importance of applying its mechanisms between the staff of the Deanship and the beneficiaries of the service.
  3. Building trained cadres in the field of quality and systems.
  4. Adopting self-evaluation performance as an input for internal and external audit.
  5. Diagnosing the obstacles to developing performance at the Deanship, proposing solutions and developing improvement plans in various fields.
  6. Ensuring effective communication with the Deanship of Quality and Academic Accreditation as a technical reference for the unit and to ensure the quality of the outputs.

Tasks:

  • Prepare the strategic plan for the quality unit and work on its implementation and propose alternatives to development.
  • Participate in the formulation of the draft strategic plan through the provision of data and information required for the preparation or development and evaluation of plans

Vision:

The Exam Unit seeks to apply quality standards to achieve learning outcomes through effective testing.

Mission:

The mission of the exam unit in the Deanship of the first common year in Al-Jouf University is to contribute and support the educational process through the application of quality standards in all testing procedures.

Objectives:

  • Organizing of the testing process through the development of schedules, the preparation and supervision of test committees to ensure the conduct of tests easily.
  • Support the academic departments to achieve the highest rates of accessing educational achievement of students.
  • To overcome the difficulties faced by students during the tests, and to provide a suitable environment and students needs (psychologically and educationally).
  • Submit periodic reports on the progress of tests and remarks being observed during tests.
  • Duties for General supervision of the Mid-term and final exams.
  • Coordinating with the academic departments to prepare the Mid-term and final test schedules.
  • Follow-up of the Mid-term and final tests.’
  • The preparation of exam control and the formation of monitoring and supervision committees, the delivery and receiving of test papers.
  • Solving students' problems related to tests.
  • Raising cases of cheating and violations committed by students to the disciplinary committee.
  • Prepare Mid-term and final exams reports.
  • Approval of alternative test dates, in coordination with academic departments.
  • Saving test files.
  • The establishment of a database on the computer for the papers and results of students in the Mid-term and final tests.

Academic Counselling Unit

Vision:

Academic counselling is a way to build a distinct personality and a renewed knowledge of students.

Mission:

Enhancing educational values and developing creative thinking skills for students to achieve the optimal investment of their abilities and build their future and society.

Objectives:

  1. To encourage and promote the culture of academic counseling among students and to access the service to those who need it, if not requested.
  2. Identify and provide academic counseling programs and services to suit the various disciplines of the students, thus contributing to the enhancement of their academic achievement and the treatment of their social problems.
  3. Provide the appropriate climate to maximize the expertise of faculty members outside the classroom.
  4. Take advantage of the talents of the students that have been discovered and help them to provide their best and highest quality by directing them to student affairs activities.
  5. Building positive relationships between students, faculty members and their colleagues.

Tasks:

  • Put a plan forward for academic supervision in the Deanship
  • To hold meetings with the members of the subcommittees of each department to clarify the work plan and the system in this area and the appropriate time plan.
  • Prepare a periodic report and a pamphlet on academic guidance.
  • Directing the student to all his concerns in terms of study, such as postponement of the study and deletion of the courses or withdrawal or cancellation of the enrollment and reenrollment, and appoint supervisors and the formation of discussion committees and additional opportunities to improve the rate or exceed the statutory period.

Mission:

The e-learning unit seeks to provide interactive e-learning services to achieve quality standards

Objectives:

  1. To improve the quality of education through the provision of interactive learning methods, and rely on e-learning techniques
  2. Developing students' skills and their ability to interact with contemporary variables through modern technologies
  3. Transforming courses in the Deanship into electronic courses
  4. Training of faculty members on the preparation of electronic courses
  5. Preparing the necessary training courses and workshops in the field of e-learning for all employees of the Deanship

Tasks:

  1. Training Courses: Blackboard basics for students and faculty members.
  2. Distribution of the student's manual to use Blackboard for the students who attended the courses.
  3. Upload an electronic copy of the English language books on Google Drive and distribute them to students through Blackboard.
  4. Create an electronic form to update Blackboard data for faculty members.

Mission:

Providing various training programs for all the staff of the Deanship to contribute to the promotion and development of the cultural and intellectual level to build a balanced personality capable of facing problems, challenges and rapid changes, thus contributing to the realization of the vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030

Objectives:

  1. Disseminate the culture of training among students and make them part of their culture.

  3. Conducting educational and scientific courses for all students in the Deanship
