Motivated by the mission of the College of Engineering, Jouf University, in conducting research and scientific studies which contribute to the developing and serving the community, the college organizes a scientific symposium on the future of urban development in Al-Jouf province (opportunities and challenges). The symposium is held during Nov.25-26, 2020.  The symposium aims to demonstrate the urban characteristics of the province, enhancing its privacy, and elevating its competitiveness in the field of urban development while maintaining its privacy as well as adopting modern planning policies. The symposium represents a practical opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience among the participants. It is honor to have an elite of distinguished speakers in the discipline of urban development.

We would like to offer our sincere thanks and gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Nawaf  bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al Jouf province, and to his excellency professor, Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Shaya, Rector of Jouf University for their continued encouragement and support. We would like also to extend our thanks to the organizing committee of the symposium for their efforts to achieve success of the symposium and to attain its prospected objectives.

Eventually, we invite all specialists to present their researches and studies, to attend, to participate, and to benefit from what will be presented in the symposium. May ALLAH almighty bless and grant us success in organizing the symposium.
