Mission

The unit seeks to develop the academic and self-skills of the students, and to provide assistance and attention to  low achiever, talented and special needs students, and provide them with support and guidance according to their personal needs and interests in order to take advantage of their own abilities and work to develop their skills and encourage them toward excellence and creativity.

Objectives

• Prepare new students to identify and adapt to university life and study system.
• Providing information and consultations that support the educational path of the students and increase their awareness of the university's mission, objectives and systems, as well as the rules and procedures governing the course of study.
• Provide students with the correct information about the college, its educational policy, academic programs, scientific departments, graduates' fields of work and the aspects of care and the services it provides.
• Develop skills and abilities that help students to be succeeded educationally and personally.
• Guide and follow-up students during study period and provide assistance and support for them.
• Help students planning for their future career.
• Provide students with tips and suggestions that support their academic achievement and help them overcome their problems.
• Contribute to strengthen students' academic, personal and social compatibility.
• Achieve self-awareness of students by providing them with academic and personal skills that enable them to understand themselves, abilities, tendencies, circumstances, motivations and goals.

Providing diverse and distinctive educational services which are aligned with the increasing demand of modern technologies in E-learning and distance education according to the local and international quality standards.

• Dissemination of E-learning culture.
• Ensure the quality of E-learning in the faculties of the university.
• Developing the knowledge of faculty members in the field of E-learning and its applications.
• Provide an applicable E-learning environment that encourages the teaching and learning processes in the college.

• Collaborate with university faculties to offer distance learning programs.

Mission

Raising the awareness of graduate students to meet the labor market requirement in order to qualify them for their fields and ensure the quality of the graduates to achieve the vision, mission and strategic goals of the university.

Goals

• Prepare graduate students and help them to obtain job opportunities at home and abroad.
• Direct students at the final levels of their study toward opportunities in the labor market through the unit's contacts with the national companies in the governorate, the national society and the labor market.
• Communicate with interested institutions, companies and ministries at the national and international levels and coordinate with them regarding the absorption of as many graduates as possible in all fields.
• Gain the confidence of the national community through the practical and theoretical knowledge of its graduates.
• Encourage the principle of community participation of national community institutions and professional communities in education to participate in helping graduates to obtain employment opportunities.
• To sustain the values ​​of excellence and competitiveness in all disciplines of the College.

• Communicate with graduates through various means of communication, thus enhancing the relationship of the graduates with their universities.

• Providing a clear and accurate academic database.

Scientific Research Unit

Unit functions

• Conduct and publish scientific researches of quality, originality and innovation to achieve the objectives of building knowledgeable and economical society.
• Motivate faculty members and students to publish scientific papers in prestigious journals.
• Engage students in scientific research in order to prepare them for the requirements of the new labor market.
• Enhance collaboration with national, regional and global research centers through joint research and exchange of knowledge and experience.
• Establish a database of scientific research, researchers and graduation projects.
• Supervising the annual "Scientific Research Day", where workshops on the basics of scientific research and open meetings will be held in which faculty members and students will submit the latest research published or in progress.
• Support the scientific conferences and workshops related to the academic specializations available in the college and the needs of the community.
• Support and encourage faculty members and students to participate in local and international scientific seminars in order to improve the quality of cognitive achievement and disseminate knowledge and research strategies.
• Prepare periodic reports on scientific research activities in the college and submit them to the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.
• Carry out any other tasks assigned to the unit which are related to its field of competence.
