I am pleased to welcome you to the website of the Department of Mathematics at the Faculty of Science at Jouf University.
The Department of Mathematics was established as one of four departments in the College of Science affiliated with King Saud University in 1423 AH. It is one of the oldest departments at Jouf University. Over the years, the department has continuously achieved the missions, visions and objectives of the college and the university and seeks to achieve quality and academic accreditation, in accordance with the Saudi vision 2030 by developing its courses and introducing various programs to keep pace with academic and scientific development at the global level, so that the department is a pioneer at the research and scientific.
The aim of this site is to introduce the Department of Mathematics, its plans, courses, scientific research and scientific activities.
Mathematics is of paramount importance as mathematics is the basis of science and the oldest of its kind throughout the ages. It has also contributed and continues to contribute effectively to the technical and technological development witnessed by the entire world.
The department offers one academic program in mathematics to obtain a bachelor's degree and offers a new Master of Science in mathematics, which includes two tracks namely, pure mathematics and applied mathematics The mathematics department teaches the various subjects of pure and applied mathematics as well as the statistical materials of the other various departments in the college and the university aided by a distinguished staff in the fields of scientific research and education.
In conclusion, we gladly welcome any point of view, and we are open to criticism that may contribute to the advancement and development of this website.
