On behalf of all our faculty, staff and students, welcome to the College of Engineering at Jouf University.

The prestigious College of Engineering is characterized by its excellent teaching- learning environment and diversity in its programs to prepare the students in response to recent technological advancements and global challenges.

The college was established based on the approval of the Higher Education Council in its thirty-sixth session in 1426 AH, which included its approval to establish an engineering college affiliated with Jouf University.

The college includes four scientific departments for students: Department of Electrical Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Department of Interior Design for female students, in addition to the Master of Science in Renewable Energy. We seek to establish many programs that serve the community. The college is distinguished for its progressive curriculum design that mainly focusses on problem-solving capabilities, industrial-specific objectives, creative design abilities, and interdisciplinary research methodologies. Our students really enjoy an interactive learning experience that goes beyond merely learning tools or knowledge, but development of critical thinking and provision of solutions to complex problems.

Nevertheless, I believe that there is still plenty of room for improvement and advancement. Our vision is to move forward with the establishment of post graduate studies and to launch new programs for undergraduate students based on the needs of the Kingdom. College strategic objectives are aligned with the strategic objectives of the University, in particular at the level of accreditation and scientific research. All offered programs are accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). In addition, a big step has been taken in order to obtain the accreditation of these same programs from the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Assessment. In terms of scientific research, the number and quality of scientific publications is growing significantly. Our aim is to be amongst the best college of engineering within Saudi Arabia. The college is committed to achieving its objectives while respecting the spending efficiency criteria as part of the inspiring Vision 2030 calling for efficient spending and balanced finances.

Thanks to the efforts of our faculty and administrative and to our collaborators, the College of Engineering at Jouf University has taken a leading role in the education and training of engineer since its birth.
